About

Hey, welcome to ntree.ai

My name is Amir. I recently left my job at Meta to build the best platform for learning and research.

I think there are three things needed to achieve that goal:

  • Great content
  • Great tools
  • Great AI agent

All three work together and are dramatically better in combination. For example, tools like interactive illustrations, notes, search, and structuring make the content easier to follow. And the AI agent takes it further by being able to use all of these tools by itself for a given request. This makes everything more efficient for both learners and creators.

It's great to be able to ask AI any question on any topic and get a personalised response. However, human-made content is still essential for real quality. Sometimes people just don't know what to ask or where to start.

So I believe the right approach is a mix of both, we just need to understand where the line between them should be.

This is the long-term vision. For now, the product is at an early stage. I'm focused on bringing all of these features to a single topic: How LLMs work?

What we collect

  • If you sign in with Google, your email, name, and profile picture.
  • Your lesson progress.
  • Your chats with AI.

The information is stored for your use, so that you can come back to your chats and progress later.

We also may review some questions to improve our content and AI answers. We do not use chats to train AI models. We will ask for your consent first if we do so in the future.

You can delete a chat at any time, using the delete button. This removes it from the server as well.

Third-party services we use:

  • Supabase to host our database and authentication. Chats and lesson progress are stored there.
  • Google for OAuth.
  • DeepInfra for AI inference. The text of your questions goes there to generate answers.
  • Axiom to monitor server performance and errors.
  • PostHog for product analytics
